So guys, how well is the overclocking of the Venice and the San Diego
stacking up against previous socket 939 CPUs working out?

I hear claims that the Venice doesn't overclock as well, is that true?
Please say it ain't so, joe.

From what I've read (can't remember which forum etc - sorry) the venice core
CPU's are more overclocker friendly than the Winchesters - something to do
with a slightly different/better memory controller.

Don't know about previous AMD64's, but my 3200+ Venice is running great at
2.7Ghz @ 1.45v, 33c idle 40c load. Impressed me!

Has it passed prime95 for some hours at that setting?

My Winchester 3200+ is only good for 2.4 or maybe 2.5 at that voltage.

Yep, 18hours+ P95, OCCT stable, Memtest stable. Great uptime, zero issues.
