How well will a i5 4430 run minecraft with shaders?

I am building a pc and will primarily be playing MC with shaders. How well will the cpu preform?
The graphics card is a R9 270x devil.

The exact number? I don't know. But more than you will need for smooth game play.

I have 1 more question, will an overclocked 7850 preform better than a 4430?

7850? As in the HD 7850 graphic card? Or the old Athlon X2 7850 CPU? If you mean the CPU, it's no match for the modern Haswell CPU. And if you mean the graphic card, it would be comparing apples to oranges.

Oh, yeah. I have to remember there's now a new "7850" CPU in AMD's stable. I wish they wouldn't name their parts with old names they used before.
