How well will my 770 go on Farcry Primal?

Was thinking about upgrading to a 970 just for the newer games that are coming out, would the 770 be able to run Farcry Primal at 60 fps on High-ish settings?

Mainly high and some medium settings your card should be absolutely fine. Your card will handles most of the big game releases this year so I'd wait for either the AMD 400 series or Nvidia pascal and then upgrade because they both look very promising in terms of price to performance plus they'll be using HBM which is better than GDDR5.
