How will a 7870 perform after a year of a 7750

Been using a 7750 for a year come the end of this month and am looking to upgrade to probably a 7870 but just wondering how much of a performance boost can i expect? I game on a single 1080p 60hz monitor so not sure how that extra GB of VRAM will help.

Depending on what CPU you have, the 7870 is more than twice as fast as the 7750

I have an i3-3220 but if I want to, I might also get an i5-3570

Then there's no reason not to get it , in non threaded games the i3 3220 is still a decent performer

Though if you could save up more, you could look towards the i5-3570+280x+new PSU if your current is insufficient
