Question How will current generation of GPUs factor into the “best graphics card for the money” article?

TLDR: rtx 2060 super vs rtx 2070 super for 1440p gaming on AAA mainstream titles, which is the best graphics card for the money?

I’m interested to upgrade my graphics card and am looking at the rtx 2060 super vs rtx 2070 super. I'm looking for the best graphics card for the money. It seems like the graphics card market has changed a bit since 2014 when I bought my gtx 970. I’m enjoying gaming quite a bit and playing titles like far cry 5, AC odyssey, shadow of the tomb raider that would benefit from a better card and would like to get faster frame rates in 60+ range at high settings on 1440p. Control, and Cyberpunk look really cool as well. I think I’ll keep my i5/4690K for the time being although I expect I may upgrade cpu to more than 4 core/thread possibly to ryzen cpu. I already have a Asus Rog Swift G-sync 1440p ips display I will continue using so wish to stay with the green team for g-sync support.

My pc specs, cpu currently overclocked to 4.5 ghz
