how will I switch to inbuilt pc sound

My speakers port is damaged so I want to switch to inbuilt pc sound. on the task bar it displays a cross sign on volume.But there is inbuilt sound in pc so, how will I switch to it.

Which speaker port is damaged? The one on the front of your case or the one on the rear? Do you have a sound card thats damaged? A bit more information is needed?

Anyhow right click volume control in the bottom right and click playback devices (a window will open). If you have multiple devices one of them will have a green tick (that is your default device thats in use now) select another device to use (either GPU or other source, you may also have to select show disabled devices if there are any) Right click on the disabled device then enable it if applicable, then set the device to default (not default communication), the tick will be next to that device now and is ready to use.

Define what you mean by "inbult sound" not sure what you mean by that.
