How will the 2011 Sandy bridge stack upto Power7/8?

Any1 have any thoughts? Other than IBM's copper materials it looks like they will be very very close - the power7 vs the 11' Sandybridge? Will they be pretty much a wash in most comparisons? thanks, J

This question is as worthless as asking how Bulldozer will perform, no one knows at this time. Anything out there will just be speculation. Though I've heard rumors Sandy Bridge won't have more than 4 cores when launched, leaving Gulftown as the top performer in threaded tasks for some time. Who knows if that'll be true. lol
