How will this system perform for wow / streaming

I'm sorry this has probably been asked a million times but I'm building my wife and I need computers for playing primarily wow with some light streaming and other similar games.

Our comps will include the following:
I7 7700k
Gtx 1070 (8gb)
16 GB RAM
ASUS Z270 PRIME-A
256gb ssd ( wd blue is the one I'm looking at)


That should cover the important major components. I plan on lightly over clocking the i7 not sure where that will land yet.

Should be fine, pretty overkill for WOW.

Might want to take a look at the Crucial MX300 series of SSDs as they have a better price per GB ratio.

Agreed not to bother with WD for SSD. If you need soemthing chepaer then the Samsung EVO the only one I could really recommend is crucial.

Other then that it is a great build that is actually well above what is needed for the games you listed.

Yeah, the Samsungs are "faster" in terms of read and write speeds, but more expensive per GB, and not really a noticeable difference when used in real life compared against other SSDs. Generally having a little more SSD storage space is preferable vs a little more speed.

Actually it isn't overkill at all. Legion is more demanding than people think, if you want to run ultra. Legion's graphics setting 7, out of 10, is about equal to what WoD would have been, under ultra.
