How worried should i be?

I built a computer for Christmas and have enjoyed it so far. today I went to the store to buy a new mouse and keyboard and I left my computer on. when I got home and was taking out my new purchases there was a power surge, and another one about fifteen seconds later, and another one about 10 seconds later. Instantly thinking about how my computer was on. I ran downstairs to see the computer restarting. I have been using it and it seems to be running fine but should I be worried? what are the chances of permanent damage done to my computer? The computer Is very important to me and I wouldn't be able to afford another one. thanks

Nope, power supplies are designed for surges. there are countries that are always having power surges, they never have problems with thier PC.

did you have it on a surge protector? if so you should be fine if not, damage could have happen but very unlikely

YEp i live in IM borm in australia, ANd i talk to my uncle on skype everyday, and almost everyday the electricity get shut down by the Gov in pakistan, so the call drop cause of no electricity. And then i talk to my uncle again the next day. His computer works perfect everyday

So that basically is Experience
