How would a 380x fair on a 2560 x 1080 ultra-wide?

I have the Lg 34" freesync monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. I would like to know how good a R9 380X would do on it. (what frame rates to expect, how high I can have the detail, etc) It is paired with the fx 8320.

Everything depends on the specific game being played. On less demanding games it would be Ok on more demanding games you could probably do mid settings and get in the 40 FPS area.
I run a GTX 980 on a 2K monitor and it runs everything just fine, a R9 380X is not even as good as a GTX 970 and I would question your satisfaction.

you really want a gtx 970 or r9 390 for that resolution
