I've searched online for this quite a lot and so far I found unrelated or poor answers so I'll just ask this question myself.
I have a Mac Mini server that's using AFP (Apple Filling Protocol) and I cannot use SMB on the Mac Mini under any circumstance. I had a couple ideas like maybe using another Mac Mini as a mirror (connecting to Mac Mini 1 using AFP with Mac Mini 2 then connecting from the Windows PC with SMB to Mac Mini 2 then relaying the information to the Windows PC)
I know this seems overly complicated and you're probably scratching your head as to why I'm not just using SMB but I can't, there are too many computers on the network connecting to the server and SMB causes a lot of issues when multiple hosts are connected, AFP does so without a problem but SMB causes other connections to hang and disconnect, I can't afford to use SMB with this many computers.
If I could get a suggestion on how to pull if my idea of using another Mac Mini as a mirror or maybe if I could get linked software that could connect using AFP from Windows I'd highly appreciate it.
