Question How would i flash a bios on this?

i have an AMD A4-6300 and i just bought an Athlon X4 860K but i need a different bios. How would i go about doing that with this kind of motherboard? if i even can...

fx series is am3 socket and not compatible with the fm socket as far as i know.the athlon is a step down from the 6300 as well.

yep,as i said,different socket.the cpu is actually a step down from the 6300.if yu have a good mb and cooler you could look into overclocking the 63.00.they are really easy to push.

i have an RX 550 i dont need the crappy graphics the 6300 gives though

Open your case and look for the motherboard make/model number. Should be stenciled on the motherboard, clearly visible.

With that information we can determine CPU compatibility and BIOS upgrade options.

then you connect your monitor to your graphics card and not your motherboard.

i stand corrected.i thought you were talking about the fx6300.the news is still not good tho.you will likely not notice any difference.time to put that budget into a new rig.
