Hello,
I am unsure on how to go about with what im wanting to do.

I am wanting to move my Samsung NVME M.2 500gb drive on over to my new PC, but would like to do a clean install of OS and all drivers onto said drive once installed into new PC.

How would i go about doing this? Would I have to wipe the drive while connected to my old PC?

Should I back up all the files onto another drive before wiping the M.2 SSD?

What software should i use to do all of this?

Thanks in advance. I know there are a lot of tutorials out there but i prefer the enthusiasts expertise here on tom's.

Solution
1st make sure windows is ready to move - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/20530/windows-10-reactivating-after-hardware-change

2. backup any files you want to save now, as install will wipe drive. I would just copy/paste

3. Clean install is safest idea. It also makes sure license moves right.

install process will wipe the drive, no need to do it beforehand.
