I want to a put in an msi gtx 1060 6gb gaming x graphics card. However, the manual says that it will only support a gpu that is 250mm long with the HDD cage in. (The one I am looking at is 277mm). I was messing around with the case today and couldn't determine how to remove the cage. Can someone please explain to me how to remove it? Thank you in advance!

As I said, won't be an issue, you don't have to remove anything. The only time that 250mm restriction will apply is to gpus that are inserted into the lower board slots. For the primary slot, as you can see from USAFret's nice little picture, the gpu sits above the hdd cage, so isn't impacted. At all.

So will the 277mm card fit without removing anything?

The user manual does not seem to say how to remove it, or what the max length GPU might be if it were removed.
Ergo, the cage is not meant to be easily removed.

The manual does specifically say 250mm length limitation.
