How would I take device drivers off of one computer (xp image) and place on another system (win 7 image)?

I currently need to take device drivers (don't have CD or Commercial Internet access) off of a Panasonic Toughbook with Xp image, then transplant them onto a new PC with Win 7. I attempted to copy the .sys files from the drivers folder, but has been unsuccessful. Anything else I can do without introducing third party software?

You can't copy XP drivers to a 7 system especially if they are different models.

Just download the drivers from the computer vendor.
