How would MDA work? And would it work for 750 ti + 1080

With nVidia's Multi Display Adapter (MDA) mode, I'm wondering what is is/how it works exactly? And would it work with a GTX 750 ti and GTX 1080 in the same system?

to drive separate screens, no problem, just plug different screens into different cards, main screen into the 1080. But you can also use the igpu from your CPU if it has one. To assist each other in rendering for better performance, that's not going to work.
