How would this build work?

I'm planning on buying a new computer so I was looking for the components with my brother. I don't really understand too much about these things but my bro thought this build would work. However, I would still like to confirm whether this build is good or if something should be changed. The computer would be for gaming (games such as Tomb Raider, Mafia II, and Smite) and video editing. :)

I'll just copy-paste everything here:
- Intel Core i5-4690, LGA1150, 3.5GHz, 6MB
- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
- Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 3, LGA1151, Intel Z170, DDR4, ATX
- Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) HyperX Savage DDR4 2400 MHz, CL12 OR Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) HyperX Fury, DDR3 1866MHz, CL10, 1.5V (Which one should I choose?)
- Kingston 120GB HyperX Fury SSD, SATA III, 2.5", 500/500 MB/s
- Windows 10 Home, 64-bit
- Seasonic 550W G-550
- Lite-On IHAS124-04 DVD+/-RW, 24x, SATA, 5.25"
- Seagate 1TB Barracuda, 3.5", Sata3, 7200rpm, 64MB
- MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 Gaming, 4GB GDDR5, DVI/HDMI/3xDP, PCI-E 3.0
- Corsair Obsidian Series 450D Mid-Tower

Does it look good? Is the case suitable for the components? (I have no idea, haha.)
If you would change some of these parts, please keep in mind that my budget is 1400€ at most.

Im not sure what parts are available in finland or how much they cost.

I would change your GPU to either a 280x or 380/380x, I would change the CPU to an i5 6400/6500

you could potentially save money on the case and get an s340 or a cheaper case and invest more into the CPU or GPU as the 450d is quite a high end case for this build.

Check how much an 850 evo or a bx100 is for an ssd as they are better models. And check the prices of 240gb ssds as usually they are not that much more but double capacity.

The z170 mobo that you picked would be overkill if you are not overclocking, consider an h170 pro4 or something like that.

You also probably wouldn't need an aftermarket cooler if you go with a chip that cant overclock. If...

There are a few problems with your build and some things that I would change. The 4690 that you chose is incompatible with the motherboard and the ddr4 ram that you chose. I would also change the ssd. The gtx 960 4gb is not really worth it due to limited memory bandwidth. What country do you live in? Ill link you to a pcpartpicker build for your country.

a z170 mobo and an aftermarket cooler potentially.

I hope I got everything right. Here's what the build currently looks like.
