how write to disc windows 8

how do I write to disc in windows 8. Explorer shows that the files are 'ready to be written to disc' but there is no icon to click. where is it?

Simply type Explorer at the Start Screen and launch File Explorer, navigate to Computer, then right click on your optical drive and select Burn to disk. The Burn a Disk dialogue box will also appear if you double click the drive while a blank CD or DVD is present. This is outlined here at Windows Support.
