Hey everybody, so I decided to finally make my first build ~

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2mFEL

I bet my build looks super patchy to all you guys, I'm sorry if I missed something completely obvious xD I've never built or read about computers until this week so please do let me know if there are any ways I can improve or change this build.
I would like to use it for livestreaming, photoshop, movies, lots and lotsa tabs (lots at the same time) and stuff like that ^^

Also of course I'm not going with a graphics card, but for my needs it's not worth it right?

Thanks so much :3

Actually i5 is enough and don't go with ivy bridge, haswell has better integrated graphics than ivy, since you are not getting a dedicated graphics card.

Overclocking gives you only like 10-15% improvement overall not actually a necessity if you are not using CPU hungry programs or games.

its like for example video editing. if you are rendering a full hour video then you can save 1 minute of rendering time in a full 15 minutes rendering when overclock.. so if that 1 minute is crucial to you then you need to overclock. But really the 4670 or 4770 with K or not is powerful already. just with K you have to option to boost your cpu a little bit.

But in your case since you are not in gaming and heavy programs like 3D rendering / Video...

check out this build and you can consider it if you got the budget.

CPU: i7 4770 non K model because I think that you're not overclocking.
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Because its super quiet and if you dont mind the looks. 2nd option is Be Quiet! Dark Rock 2 but its 20$ more expensive but I believe its the most quiet and good looking Cpu cooler out there. perfect for a silent build PC
CASE: Fractal design Define R4 case, again Silent optimize and great looking case, it has white color option if you prefer white.

GPU: again its optional, Intel's integrated chip (HD4600 in i7 4770 not the HD4000 in i7 3770) can perform the same as 50-80$ gpu. But having that R7 260x you can have an option of getting 3 monitors. I was thinking when you said you open up a lot of tabs then with multimonitor you can put your browser tabs at one side and your other programs like photoshop to another.

Great suggestions, thank you! I probably don't have that full budget, so I'll probably still keep the Gpu out of the picture and add it later, but i'm glad I have your suggestion on one.
If I were to overclock would it be better to go with the i5-3570K or some oc i5 rather than a bound i7? I've been debating back and forth what I should do for my cpu and considering I've never really used nice computer I don't know if I'll be making full use of the i7..
That sound card >> I probably will make super priorities for my first upgrades on one

actually I feel like I was going to suggest the 4670k to you since you are not doing CPU intensive programs, i5 4670k is plenty enough. Getting i7 4770k gives you a slight advantage on programs, and the only thing that separates i5 and i7 is hyperthreading.
