Hey all,

The following is the list I'm thinking of going with for next build, any thoughts?

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus - ROG STRIX X470-F Gaming ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Storage: Crucial - MX500 500 GB 2.5" SSD
GPU: EVGA - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Black
Case: NZXT - H700i ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G3 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Need recommendations for a monitor to get the most of this build, I'm thinking of going with a curved monitor. Also, need some recommendations on fans.

Thanks!

I'd change the PSU to the 650W version and the motherboard to the B450 version then use the savings to grab the Intel 660P 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD as it will be faster and have double the storage. Everything else looks good, the build will handle 1440P gaming well or if your games support 21:9 I'd go 3440x1440P/VA/100hz.

What is your budget for the tower & monitor?

Besides gaming do you do anything else such as streaming or video editing?

Thanks for the response. I was thinking the 750W PSU might be overkill, any suggestions on a good 650W PSU?

Budget for the tower is no more than $200, which is a lot. For the monitor I would like to stay under $500 if possible.

I do both streaming and video editing.

The EVGA G3 650W or Seasonic Focus Gold 650W would work well.

Sorry, when I meant tower I also meant the parts inside included in the budget.

For the monitor I'd get this.
PCPartPicker Part List

Monitor: Acer - ED7 34.0" 3440x1440 100 Hz Monitor ($478.68 @ Amazon)
Total: $478.68
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

My budget for the tower is $1500. Might hold off for a bit since the Ryzen 3000 series is coming and may lower the price of the CPU I’m looking at.
