I have a budget of $700, and this is what I came up with so far. However if you could help me with motherboard that would be great.

Already own my PSU and Graphics card from my old computer.

I'm gonna use the computer mostly for gaming, school work, and the occasional video editing which I will probably do more of if I get this computer. And I'm gonna use the GPU, PSU, and my two hard drives from my old computer.

Right away though I would suggest to drop 2600k for 2500k (I know u said it but if u whanna future proof just get z68 mobo and then get ivy bridge later on) and pick different case Like same Cm but storm scout

I have an ASUS GTX460 1Gb and a PC Power and Cooling 650W PSU, and I'm not gonna replace either of them. Any mobo in particular? When I go to Newegg, every mobo seems to have problems. And the case is still questionable, so I have a lot of options.

This is a fairly new Z68 option you can consider for motherboard. There is also an extreme4 version that is like 30 more.

Do you see any major differences between the Extreme4 and the Extreme3? I can't really see any, they both are feature loaded...

Yeah that mobo is good. U have nice PSU I would suggest going for 2500k and HAF 912 case and using that money u saved on second GTX 460 or selling ur GTX 460 and getting something like HD6950
