Check out the build that I'm going with and tell me your thoughts and opinions. If you could recommend me maybe lower priced ram or a nicer motherboard for less or a bit more that would be nice also. Keep in mind I already ordered the gpu and cpu so I can't really change those now.

The GTX 750 Ti is made to be power efficient
http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-750-ti/specifications
Has a 60W max power need
Also i don't think any single card gaming rig uses more than 550W of power with the current top power-hungry cards anyway
If you have money to spare, buy the EVGA PSU, it's better than the Antec, which is also pretty darn good for the price, both better than the corsair unit.
If you want more options, check this

What about the motherboard? Thats the part thats really giving me a headache I really wanted to get the Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A since I see people use it in there builds with the same cpu, is cost efficient, and has what I need. The problem si the website for this mobo doesnt show the i3 4170 on there cpu support list although it will show the 4160 which is weird since the 4170 has lga 1150 which the moterboard has so i'm not sure what mobo to go with now.

I don't know how the SP550 is against the V300, personally at 250 GB I would had picked up the EVO 850 over both.
I would had picked an i3 6100 on H110/B150 with DDR3 rather than the i3 4170 I guess since the price should be about the same.
750Ti will likely be replaced by the GTX 950 SE soon.
I have no idea about the PSU quality.

Will 120 GB cut it for you?
It's a decent step-in gaming build, the R9 380 doesn't cost much more and would had been better, the i5 4460 too.
I don't know how you'd thought about 1 TB HDD + i5 4460 + R9 380?

You don't need 600 watt PSU so if you could had gotten a better quality one but in 500 watt or with GTX 750Ti even 00 watt maybe that would had been better.

Like I said I already bought the cpu and gpu so I'm not looking for upgrades in those parts. Also is there a good psu for 35$ or less

Do you think I should still go with that motherboard? I ask someone who bought it with the i3 4170 and he said he had no problems with it. This is my first build though so it will be difficult if I ran into a problem.

Ah, ok, sorry :)
The CPU and GPU are decent introductionary pieces so nothing wrong with them.

As for the motherboard I can't really help since I don't know more than you do, check another cheap B85 motherboard? :)

I don't know if there's anything wrong with the Corsair PSU, I wouldn't get one at that price-level myself and paid ~three times as much for mine, I haven't seen the model before I just know people aren't all that excited about the VS and the CX series, maybe this one is even cheaper? I don't know whatever the EVGA 500B is any better but if you could get that for $20 then it's cheaper at-least and it's an awesome price for it.

I'm from Sweden so I don't know all your deals and all our models may not be the same (maybe builder series is 120 volt and VS series is 240 volt for instance and that they are about the same in quality?)

If his work I don't see why your´s shouldn't. Worst case scenario you'd need to upgrade the BIOS and maybe you'd need to have a functional CPU for that I don't know if so that would be an annoyance, but I would assume that new motherboards shipped with a newer version of the BIOS, Haswell Refresh has been around for quite some time. Guess the H97 motherboards are safer there but they normally cost ~as much as a Z97 one.

This one you know will work:
https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gab85mds3h
But I don't see why there would be much difference with them and if someone else run an i3 4170 ...

I don't see the difference in spec: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/comparison/list.aspx?ck=2&pids=5189,5015,5346

Many people talking about them here: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/3uujzi/cpumobo_intel_core_i34170_gigabyte_gab85mds3ha/

I can't promise anything :)

You can of course not get the best quality for the lowest prices :)

People may bitch about the CX PSUs but I guess that may partly be because people view Corsair as a quality brand and as such maybe expected quality but if you pay low-end money you likely get low-end components.

It's likely best to avoid the complete garbage, but I don't know what's complete garbage and what works.

My old case was a Chieftec Dragon case, it cost like 1100 SEK back then so.. like $130 or so now and included a 360 watt Chieftec PSU and I've used that for like 10 years before and haven't had any issue (burning capacitor on the motherboard but not necessarily the fault of the PSU.)

I have an EVGA G2 750 now but today I would had picked the P2 650 instead because they are so very similar in price and the G2 750 is too big for very many Micro-ATX cases.

That post list the EVGA 500B in the tier above and that's just $20:
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10500kr
Newegg $49.99
"+ USD $10 off w/ promo code EMCEGFN53, ends 2/22
$20.00 mail-in rebate"

I don't know what the rabate card is.

What quality is the "system builder" or whatever his listed PSU was then? Because I don't think that said CX or did it?
