AMD - Ryzen 5 1400 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
ASRock - AB350 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard
G.Skill - NT Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Asus - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB Dual Video Card
Corsair - VS 550W ATX Power Supply

I'm going to choose a case soon but I'm trying to go over $1000 Australian.

Any things I could improve and any suggestions on a good case for less than $100

Solution
1. It is better to push the budget a tiny bit more for 1600.
2. Can you still afford 16GB RAM. 8GB is minimum and 16GB is the recommended. Go for recommended, if possible.
3. 1060 3GB is far weaker than the 6GB. The difference is not only on the VRAM capacity. In my eyes, the price/perfromance value of 1060 3GB is not as good as 1050Ti and 1060 6GB. I would rather pick either 1050Ti or 1060 6GB. 1060 6GB would be really really nice.
4. 550W PSU is enough but Corsair VS is not among the best. I would get better PSUs, if possible. Go for Tier 1 or 2 from: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
5. here are 2 interesting cases below 100 bucks: Phanteks - Eclipse P300 Tempered Glass $79, Cooler MAster CM590 $69...
