graphic cards are a whole different story. Temps are hardly a matter for athlon 64s at 1.5v. Prescotts and bartons are the ones that need the extra coolingThat is absolutely incorrect; lower temperatures can make all the difference for overclocking. A high quality air cooler can lower load temperatures considerably and translate to a very real difference in clock speed. This is especially true for graphics cards.
i overlooked the fact that he has an X2, but the truth is for single core athlon 64s, the stock cooler is good enough. lower temps might be nicer, but full load in the low 50s aint goign to kill you. And i would also like to clear up the misconception that some people have when it comes to overclocking, a chip that overclocks well is the luck of the draw, if its a bad chip, no fan is going to help you.
