If you're gonna overclock make sure to get an aftermarket CPU Cooler.

That power supply will work with your system but for the price you can get something better.
The Corsair CX isn't a high quality power supply.

Yeah I'm aware stock coolers aren't great, not planning on overclocking for a while anyway, what PSU would you recommend?

Depending on the prices where you'll be buying the components from, the Rosewill CAPSTONE-750-M is a great power supply in the same price range.

Also, if you're gonna use one GTX 970 only then a 600W PSU will be more than enough.
