Hello all,

I'm a beginner when it comes to picking parts. This will be my first time building a computer. I want to build a new PC while using some parts I already have, and use the leftovers to build a 2nd PC as a streaming PC. I've put a lot of research in what I need, so far I've come up with this. What do y'all think?

Parts I already have will be mentioned in brackets.

Solution
save your money for the 2nd dedicated streaming pc and spend on a better cooler like R1 and NH-D15, evo 212 is not gonna cut it for 8700k.

use 212 for your dedicated streaming pc instead, drop your new psu to Corsair CX550, good enough.

I have the 212 already in my soon to be streaming computer. I wanted to move it to my main PC because it doesn't fit the case I currently have (streaming PC one). Will the evo 212 still not work with the 8700k at stock speed/voltage?

For stock, yes. But is kind of waste with 8700k imo :)

Ok, thanks for the quick reply. The d15 is 165 mm with the fractal design focus g having 165 max cpu cooler height. Do you know if it will fit? Also, I read that TridentZ's have trouble fitting with the D15

I thought D15 has a max ram clearance of 35 mm, while Trident Z's are 44 mm tall? So far I've heard both yes and no for those two being compatible.

Would you choose Cyrorig R1 Ultimate + Low profile ram like Hyper X fury

or

Cyrorig R1 Universal + G. Skill Trident Z ?
