[SOLVED] How's this for a budget VR PC?

Solution
My friend asked me for an estimate for a VR pc under $500. CPU cooler is going to be a Wraith Prism I have. Will this work okay?

This is the baseline system. Unfortunately you will go i to reprojection a lot with the 580. In a few years time a lot of games wont be able to run on it as vr game polygon counts are scaling upwards quickly.

This would not be a long term investment. The sweet spot is with a 5700 xt or 2070 super for performance. A 2700x would also be a good sweet spot choice.

As someone with a RX 580 8GB I can say this will run VR fine on a 2x1440p WMR Headset. As for the CPU I am not sure how much VR rely on it. I have a 2600 and never had a issue but the 1400 should be fine as well. Most higher end VR Games require a 1600 at least.
