This will be my first build. This systems is mostly for gaming and some video editing and DVR. Since I'm a rookie in building a system, stability is more crucial than OC.

I've been reading this forum diligently and the components choice below is much influenced by the wisdom of the experts here. Please let me know if you see any conflict or incompatible parts. Please also advise if you can think of any improvements.

I already have the Microsoft keyboard and mouse. I have not decided on the monitor and the speakers. Any suggestions?

Thanks for all your help.

Looks good. For speakers, I suggest Logitech Z-680's for the best 5.1, or the Z-220's if you just want stereo sound.

heya Curling;

I recommend Sceptre for your monitor choice, their monitors come with a 5 Year warantee, its almost unheard of, i own one myself and the quality is outstanding, and the kicker is they are inexpensive, imagine that 5 year warantee and inexpensive...

<Trip> Yeah, on paper... </font color=blue>

Very nice. Just a thought - whikle the AIW radeon is awesome, its really very pricey. Unless that isn't an issue, how about a tv tuner card (what...$50 max?) and a regular 9800 Pro? Because the AIW are just tv tuners and video cards in one.

Just an idea :) Otherwise, I'm very jealous tbh :)
