I dont trust HP when it comes to AMD systems. It seems everything I work on from HP that is turd slow is packing an AMD chip at a pathetic 1ghz. You cant take a slow chip and run it at a slow clockspeed.

Glad they still putting display port on them. Anyone with 1440p+ monitors have problems hooking up to laptops with only HDMI. Its only only reason I bought from them in past actually :p

I've got a 8w AMD A6-1450 **Temash Jaguar** (2 CUs) on a 14-inch HP Touch modded with a Samsung SSD -- still rockin' after 3+ years, and it runs at 1-1.4GHz. Boots in 8 seconds :)

An AMD 'Big Cat' Bristol Ridge Excavator-II APU at 2.7-3.6 GHz, with 8 CUs, at 12- to 15w, with all those fancy modern 'accoutrements' is impressive. Thanks, HP.

The mixing of 9xxx and 8xxx labeling is odd. Also, some of these are xx30 which for Bristol Ridge typically indicates a configurable TDP range of 25-45W (vs the xx00 models listed at 12-15W). Having higher watt options would be nice.

Then again these are OEM model numbers so it could be coincidental.

The Elitebook name carries with it an expectation of at least reasonable performance. They'll probably run fine.
