hp-1280t upgrade for graphics?

What would be the best graphics card I could upgrade to that would be able to handle 4k ultra gaming and videos?

Was looking for a card currently available possibly preowned that would be able to do 4k gaming or videos. Also my PC has a legacy BIOS so the newer UEFI enabled graphics cards are not going to work. Thanks in advance!

Your computer is from 2012 from the looks of it. If you wanted to do 4k gaming on ultra your going to end up doing a full build, not just a GPU swap.

Even for a upgrade to run current games a PSU upgrade is recommended to get rid of the poor quality one HP gave you. GPU, and maybe add some ram depending on what you have.

I have a 600w high efficiency PSU and 10gb ram. Which card would you suggest? I purchashed a 7950, gtx 760, gtx 660, and gtx 560 ti (hoping one does the trick). I currently got the 7950 and am running into this issue : http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3874497/gpu-working.html
Waiting for the other 3 in the mail to give them a shot.
