My drive failed for my HP 15-f023wm so I got an SSD and put windows 7 on it. It won't detect the mouse, internet, trackpad, or anything plugged into it. If I had a mouse it would be a lot easier but the ones I tried don't work. Help is much appreciated!!!!

Solution
Windows 7 is not supported on that model (HP have not released any Windows 7 drivers for it, and the drivers they have released won't work on Windows 7). You can only run Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 on it:

You are supposed to check the manufacturer's website before installing a different Windows version.

Wipe Windows 7 off the hard drive, then install the original OS from the factory recovery discs (or hard disk backup image) which you should have made when your laptop was new. If you didn't make a set of recovery discs you'll have to contact HP and ask if they can supply a set.

Failing that, you'll have to buy Windows 8.1.
Install that, then get 8.1 drivers from the HP website via the link above. Let the auto updates from Microsoft install, then apply for free Windows 10 upgrade if you want it, via the desktop icon.
