Hi, i am trying to connect the CPU to the motherboard but for some reason the gold connections wont stay on the CPU.

If anyone has any ideas on how these can be connected i would be very greatful.

I have attached a picture...

That is a wireless network adapter. Not a CPU.

And, to be sure, verify that the loose connections are the two wired gold connectors shown in the images - correct?

As for making the connectors stay in place that is a bit trickier.

Leave the wire side connectors alone. Try to gently reshape the ports on the wireless adapter so the connecting plugs will fit much more snuggly.

Reshaping must be done very gently with the network adapter removed from the host computer. Removing the network adapter will put only the adapter at risk. Not the host.

If things go badly then a new wireless adapter may become necessary.

Thank you Ralston18. I did question if it was the CPU. Not sure why the connectors are made this way as i cant keep them connected. They wont even click into place. I think I may need a new adapter or worse new connectors :(
