Question HP 17t -s100 Evny cap over hinge coming off

The cap on one hinge is not on correctly this is how it came to me so I don;t know how it got this way. it not lose or falling off and the hinge feel good but I giving this to some one and want it right, the laptop is a hp evvy 17T - s100, how can I put this on right?

You could look into replacing the shell of the laptop and be done with it properly. Might want to include images to showcase the extent of the (damage...?) hinge coming off.

Thanks, I got it back in place, I was worry if I try to force it it would break but it went back the was it belong
