I'd be surprised if Windows didn't already have driver for the webcam.

Is the camera registered in Device Manager? It will be under the 'Imaging Devices' folder there.

Have a look and see if Windows 'knows' about the webcam.

If it is there, you can download and install Skype which will test it for you and enable you to see yourself on the telly. :)

Thanks for the reply. For some reason Windows didn't install a driver for it I did find it on the Cyberlink page eventually, the software was a bonus as well :)

What a hassle it is to revert to Win7 from Win8... HP does not provide any of the drivers.
