I need lcd for photoediting and I would like to know if there is something better than hp2065 (in that price range) out there.
This is great forum btw. :)

thanks!

No offense bacis, but the HP2065 is a "no brainer" choice.... S-IPS panel, 1600x1200 UXGA, .255mm pixel

The Viesonic is SXGA, 1680x1050m .282mm pixel.

"... if you can happen to find an IPS based Dell 2007WFP, then those usually come calibrated better than other brands.

Not much chance on this. There usually isn't a way for buyer to check new Dells for their type of panel. And, the sales reps wouldn't be able to tell either..... they probably don't know there even ARE 2 types of panels or how to check to see which is which.
