Hp 23" ips with 5mil:1 dynamic contrast or Dell 23" ips with 8mil:1? Price is the same but the Dell does not have HDMI.

I am new to pc gaming and have asked a similiar question earlier. I have trouble making decisions such as this lol. I have a gtx 650 i5-3350p @3.10GHz, 64 bit. The above monitors are thesame price but the dell has more dynamic color contrast by 3milion (sounds like a lot but i have no idea if its a big deal) but does not have hdmi conection. I prefer hdmi so the HP sounds more appealing but the Dell sounds like itis better, but how much better? This is prob a dumb question but i would be greatful for some help.

Thank you for taking the time to help. So the HP fits my needs. I am not a photographer.thanks again.

yeah 5ms is a good response time, the hdmi since its prefferable and wont see loss in performance is good.

Both monitors are 7ms.. I was wondering about the dynamic contrast ratio differene between the two. HP was 5,000,000:1 and the Dell says 8,000,000:1. And someone just responded to another question of mine saying that 7ms is too high saying i should get something with 2ms or lower if i intend to play games (which i do). How is lower better for gaming?

well its just how fast the monitor responds. the 3:000:000 more colors probably wont affect you or your gameplay. 7ms is a little high. but 5ms or below is good. 3ms and below is good. 5ms wont affect you to bad.
