Question HP 250 g7 Cant install windows

Hello all
I have an hp 250 g7 laptop that stopped booting and stayed in the hp logo screen loading forever.I checked the m.2 nvme disk that the os is installed on with the hp utility program and short dst failed indicating that something is wrong with the disk.But my computer has another mechanical one disk and i tried to install windows on it using a usb stick.When the first step which is the language select appears i'm clicking next but it does nothing after that.Just staying in a blue font with the cursor on and I can't continue the installation.Do i need to remove the m2 to proceed installing the second hard drive?

Remove the M2 and all other drives if you want to clean install onto the mechanical disk. The mechanical should be the only one connected.


Boot from your USB stick.

Delete ALL partitions from the mechanical disk when given the opportunity.

If your M2 is really defective and you exchange it for another, you can then clone your new installation from the mechanical to the replacement M2
