Hello, this is a very fustrating situation for me and I really need some help asap.
I just bought a new pc, HP Pro 400 G1. I turned it on, everything worked great. I went to my old pc,
removed drivers and turned it off. I then moved the GPU ( r9 270x) and PSU ( inland 650w)
to the new pc. Everythign was working just fine in one. After plugging everything up,
making sue everything is nice and tight, I turn on the Hp pro and it starts beeping 4 times, with a red flash on the power button. This happend 4 times, then a short pause, then 4 more beeps.
I tried some solutions but they didnt work, and I turned it on again, but this time
I just held the power button down and it stayed on. It still beeps 4 times if I shut it down but I have to hold it down and it will turn on anyway or something. Now trying to install the GPU and windows 8.1 is not even dectecting it. The GPU an inside is spinning but..yeah this is my problem really need some help. Thanks and much aprecaited...been a long night

you plugged the power connectors for the graphics card? and the cpu power connector to the motherboard? take the graphcis card back out, see if you get the same beeps - this will help decide if it's the graphics card causing it or something misspluggged on the motherboard.

Alright, I will put the parts in the older pc to see if they still work. I did try to re-seat the RAM, but it still beeped 4 times. I even took one out as one solution online said, but that didn't work either.

I put the parts back in the older pc, everything turned on just fine, no beeps or anything. Btw my older pc is a costume built, using a asus p4g1 mlx plus. I wanted to just get a new pc to get off the LGA 775. But anyway...still having trouble and really could use some great advice
