Hp 45 black catridge error

Hello,
I have a photosmart P1000 and use the hp 45. I refill the hp45 up to 5-6 times and then I usually replace the hp45. This time I only refilled twice and the message snap catridge completely in BLACK CATRIDGE IS MISSING. I tried everything on hp site and saw the messages on this site also. Any more suggestions before I buy a new catridge? Frank

Can you get it to print a test page anyway? I've got a Deskjet 9300, and sometimes it said one of the cartridges was installed badly, but the test page came out okay in spite of the message.
