[SOLVED] HP 650 Notebook Installing Second memory module

Hey guys

I am trying to install a second memory module into the second slot of my laptop motherboard. For some reason the ram doesn't slot into the second slot, only the first. Windows in task manager does detect 1 of 2 slots are in use. I have installed laptop ram many times before but this one i dont know whats going on. The second slot doesnt appear to be damaged at all and looks exactly the same as the first, but for some reason, i cant get the ram in. Thanks.

Are you sure you have it turned the right direction so the slot is in the right place? Uses DDR3L so-dimm 204 pin 8GB max. Link to service manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04823617
What is the memory you are trying to install?

So i sorted it out. Turns out the pins inside the sodimm slot were extremely stiff and i just needed to use A LOT of force with extreme care at the same time XD. All working great.
