After a paper jam, apparently cleared without problems, my HP printer
has stopped working. The lights are green alright. The compuper
"sends" the document to the printer apparently real fast. It doesn't
show up, or not for long, in the printing queue, and no error message
bounces back... the computer acts as though the printer is doing its
job, but the printer just sits there with its continuous green lights
staring at me and nothing happens... any idea about what I can do?

Sounds like a bad cable to me. Have seen symtoms like this when a cheap
cable was used and when cable lenth was more then 10 feet.

Are you sure the printer cable is fully seated? Have you checked the
printer cable on another printer or with a testing programe?
