HP 7310 all in one - message about new cartridge on PC scree

I am getting three of these messages - "new cartridge installed etc " on every document I print. I believe there is a problem the HP registry but I haven't been able to locate the registry and also what to change

Try this... Back up your registry first!



Go to Start>>Run>>regedit

Locate hkey_local_machine\software\hewlett-packard\HPDJ printing system config\hpofficejet7400series

look for hpdjenablestatusclient

double click on it
change the value data from 1 to 0

Click OK
Close regedit
If that fails, turn off the other values from 1 to 0
