HP 78 remanufactured cart doesn't work.Please HELP !!!

I bought a hp 78 Rem cartridge from e-bay but my printer doesn't
recognize it.The contacts on the front are different from those on the
original cart.What can i do?I have a HP 6122.
Please HELP ME !!!

I bought a new hp 78 cart for 9.50 euro but has expired a year ago.
Will work?
The blu tape has been never removed.

Might be OK, won't hurt to try. If you see banding or missing colors, soak
the head surface in hot water and ammonia for a few minutes.

No, the 23 cartridge operates at different voltage and frequency and has an
entirely different nozzle layout, with less than half the nozzles of the 78
cartridge. Additionally the electrical contacts are entirely different.
Contact the seller on eBay - if he sold you this as compatible with a #78
cartridge get your money back.

My new hp 78 doesn't work.I removed the blue tape and the same time the
metallic plate went off.Anything i can do for that?

If this is an original HP cartridge then check the warranty date as shown at:

If the cartridge is still under warranty contact HP for a replacement. If this
is a remanufactured cartridge contact your dealer for a replacement.

The warranty expired july 2004 but i called HP and will send me a new
one.They didn't asked me about the warranty
