HP 8000 Elite SFF add memory

I am receiving a refurbished HP
8000 Elite SFF with Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 160GB Hard Drive, running Windows 10 Pro. I have an old hp laptop with a new Samsung 250 GB SSD that I'm retiring. Can I install the SSD into this PC? Also want to replace the 4GB with 8 GB RAM. This will be a school computer and used for reading and making CD's and DVD's, don't need a gaming PC.

Yes you can use the SSD.
Max ram is 16GB so you are set to go with 8.
If you are running a 32bit version of Windows then you will need to reinstall a 64bit version to see the benefit of the extra ram. Sadly, there is no upgrade path from 32 to 64 bits.
