Hp 8300f freezing up

My wife got a HP 8300f from a family member. I transferred files from other pc via network and everything was working fine. I then installed Nero, Avast,Malwarebytes and Zcimema drivers for her speakers, connected the cable to the tv tuner card. She tried to use it today and it keeps hanging up on anything you click on...I wont let me uninstall anything, or do a system restore even in safe mode. I ran malwarebytes in safe mode found nothing. Put the recovery disc in, but locks up trying to read it. .Opened case, no dust..no fried capacitors. If i click on a program or explorer it either says not responding or it keeps spinning. But it also shows that the program is running. Im not sure what to do next.

Turns out Nero 7 was the culprit. Have to go download the Nero Uninstaller from the site. everything is working fine now. strange thing
