in their experience colour cartridge is simply impossible to refill !

Could this be true? Any experience with that !

Well I just re-filled the colour cartridge for my old HP 670C. Filled all
three chambers to the top, and......... nothing. Not a dot of colour came
out!!!

Maybe he is right...?

Probably the salesman would rather see you spend the big bucks on a new
cartridge.

My sister gets me to fill her HP 920c cartridges for her. They use
the "#15" and "#78" cartridges. No problems at all, they work every
time, first time.

Did you leave your cartridge out with the print head uncovered for a
long period of time. If the print head dries out you will get problems,
like perhaps a now dead cartridge. They sell special clips that protect
the print head on the cartridge from drying out with the ink in it.
I'm no expert in HP but that's what I suspect.
