Hello -

The colours started looking funny a week ago. Ran a test page a cople of
days ago, no yellow.

Refilled the yellow (3rd or fourth refill), primed (applying slight air
pressure with a hose and the yellow ink flowed out through the plate),
but no yellow appears on the test page.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

I'm not sure exactly what happens when HP cartridges stop completely on one
colour like this after a refill, but it does happen after a few refills
sometimes. Possibly it's internal pressure hasn't equalised, or perhaps it's a
large drop of ink hanging below the head that stops droplets firing across to
the paper. Either way, I've got HP cartridges working again by dunking the head
in 1/4" of almost boiling hot water for 10 minutes, then wicking it on dry
tissue till it flows the same speed as the other colours before returning it to
the printer. Once it starts working leave it alone overnight for pressures to
equalise before doing any serious amount of printing.
