is it legacy or uefi ???
does any of these 2 cards have
switch on it to enable a legacy compatibility mode???

my hp compaq 6200 pro mt pc's
bios version is Hewlett Packard J01 v2.01, 4/6/2011 n smbios is 2.7

i think it is legacy??

The main boards bios should not effect the ability to add either one of those cards. You have 1 pcie16 slot and it should be usable.
