Hi all,
I've been working on this for a few days now and am having a hell of a time.
I have an adaptec USB2Xchange USB -> SCSI adapter. The adapter is working fine. Windows sees it, recognizes it as a scsi adapter, and properly identifies things on the scsi chain (including the photosmart scanner)
The problem appears to be drivers. I keep getting an error from windows claiming the inf file is incorrect for windows XP and that it couldn't complete the installation.
I do have a full set of 4 ASPI drivers installed, all with matching revision numbers.
As the computer does see the scanner on the scsi chain, and identifies it, and selects (obviously) certain information from the inf file, everything appears to be working up to the driver.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get this thing working? I'd really like to use my scanner again =(
