Hey i have HP Compaq 6200 Pro Microtower (i5, 3.3ghZ) and want to install GTX750 and will my motherboard support it? Some say it can't but i saw it has PCI Slot and what can i do? :/
GPU<->Motherboard compatibility is rarely ever an issue. Your MB just needs to have a PCI-E version higher than 1.0. Any motherboard that isn't ancient will have at the very least 1.1. Newer ones will have 2.0 or 3.0. Since your motherboard has an i5 which is socket 1155, it will most definitely support that GPU.
The only thing that really matters is the PSU. The 750 isn't very demanding, but pre-built PCs are usually equipped with hot potatoes instead of actual PSUs, so we need to make sure. What PSU do you have?
